Coshocton Train Show Frequently Asked Questions
We won't be able to think of every situation, but please reach out if you have something that isn't addressed here.
Everyone/Visitors:
Who is sponsoring the Coshocton Train Show?
The Coshocton Train Show is sponsored by LANSON TRAINS, a brand owned by LANSONWORKS, LLC which is a for-profit corporation registered in the state of Ohio.

The combination of selling the vendor table spots, door admission, food donations, and any additional donations will be given to the Associated Model Railroad Engineers of Coshocton, which is a non-profit corporation registered in the State of Ohio.
How do I get there?
The show address is:
Coshocton County Career Center
23640 Airport Road, Coshocton, OH 43812

For more information, see the directions page

How many tables are there?
We are a 75 table show. It is a mix of about 20-12' tables and 55-8' tables. We currently have about 35+ vendors/exhibitors that will be attending.

What all will be for sale?
Primarily model railroading related equipment and items. I would expect there to be a small cross over of non-model railroad related stuff (cars and military kits) as well as potentially books, tools and supplies.

Are credit cards accepted?
The $5 admission cost and food donations monies are cash only. Individual vendors may potentially accept credit cards. You will need to check with the individual vendor when making a purchase.

Does Coshocton Train Show/LANSONTRAINS/LANSONWORKS take a cut of the vendor sales?
No.

What kind of food and drinks will be available?
All food / drinks are available by donation only:
Currently we will be serving beef hot dogs, an assortment of pop and chips. We are lining up for a pizza delivery to add to the fun!
Coffee is also available.

All food donation proceeds go to the collective benefit that will be given to the Coshocton Model Railroad Club.
Is the building HVAC controlled?
Yes we are in a wonderful facility that has air conditioning.
Is there an ATM on site?
No, but there are some nearby. See the ATM List

Vendors:
Can I sell non-train related items?
We absolutely understand that there is a cross-over between hobbies. Your items should primarily be train related, though we do not discourage selling of non train items as long as they are in a shared spirit. Military models, RC airplanes, Trucks... etc all seem to exist in the same vein so to speak. Please consider the market of this event however as it is primarily going to draw folks in that are looking for model railroad items.
Are tables provided?
Yes, the table(s) you registered for are provided and pre-setup in the location you are assigned. Chairs are also included
Is electric available?
Yes for several tables/areas. Please let us know when registering and we will try to accommodate.
I have a friend/family member that is helping me overall. Do they have to pay admission?
No. We are very reasonable about this! Your helper's admission (within reason) is included.
Are carts available?
We have 4 community carts available for vendors to use to help load/unload.
When can we setup?
You can setup between 7AM-10AM.
Please see the vendor information page for additional details.
When can we setup the night before?
The Friday night before the show, there is the ability for vendors to load between 4:00PM - 7:00PM.
You MUST contact us ahead of time if you plan on setting up Friday night.
When can we tear down?
Please do not starting tearing down before 2PM
We understand it is task to get setup and to get packed up. Doing a "soft" tear down starting at 2PM is no problem. Please accommodate visitors and sales all the way up to 3PM please.
